Colt
has utilised over 70 years experience of solving climate control
problems, to take a fresh approach to the challenges associated with
air conditioning. Investigations have resulted in advanced, safer
and ‘greener’ performing systems. Colt-Caloris encompasses a wide
range of features that sets it apart from the competition. Its
design makes it highly efficient and environmentally friendly.
Colt-Caloris is an ideal alternative to both conventional air
conditioning and reverse cycle heat pump systems and includes
benefits such as; Energy Efficient - ECA Compliant, Low Noise levels
(NR 28 - 35), Flexibility for future expansion, Individual control
for heating and cooling, Extremely high unit COP (up to 7), Neutral
temperature of water loop (between 15ºC and 30ºC), Un-insulated
plastic piping, Slimline unit (only 247mm high) Vertical Wall Unit
(only 480mm high), System allows unlimited number of units to be
installed and maintenance free horizontal compressor.

Fläkt Woods - Jet Thrust Systems - Ducted systems are the
traditional approach to enclosed car park ventilation, with fresh
air levels based on a given number of air changes per hour. Constant
running of a ventilation system, even in extended periods of low, or
even no traffic or ventilation requirement, results in high day to
day running costs. The solution is Fläkt Woods Jet Thrust System.
Ventilation can be designed using CO and LPG sensors monitoring
system, so that selected fans only run when necessary. Additional
savings are gained because the main extract fans do not need to be
oversized to cope with the system resistances found in ducted
systems. All our designs will be prepared to the customers
requirements, to take into account the country regulations that
apply. If required the Jet Thrust System can be designed to a
traditional volumetric air change rate.
The DIRIVENT system with its small nozzles distributes the primary
air optimally throughout the car park to avoid pockets of stagnant
air. It transports the air from one end of the floor to the other.
DIRIVENT system provides advantages such as: improved ventilation,
supply air duct can be made short and straight which reduces
investment and less power needed for the fans, the car park becomes
easier to plan and design, can be installed at a late stage, reduced
amount of wide/large ducts also means savings in space and cost, can
be used for re-circulation during inactive periods of the car park
to further save energy, both heating and cooling mode can be used,
the small ducts for the DIRIVENT nozzles take up very small ceiling
space (less than 100 mm) and the airstream can be directed either
horizontal or vertical.

Halton
has a range of HVAC products and systems with covers ventilation
fire safety, air flow management, air diffusion, kitchen ventilation
and air filtration both at land and sea. All components are designed
to build comfortable, safe and energy efficient indoor climates.

HC-PVE
are the UK branch of the world’s largest supplier of car park
ventilation systems. As part of the HC Group, their induction
ventilation system is most sustainable solution for car park
ventilation currently available. Using a patented twin nozzle
design, their soffit mounted 2nd generation induction fans give
unrivalled performance in terms of dilution and area coverage. As
the inventor of the thrust principle of ventilating car parks, HC-PVE
has pioneered the induction method due to its unique performance and
relative 'green' credentials. Their engineers design to drawings and
the specification from the initial contact up to the formal design
stage. None of their designs are a result of guessing; this in turn
means their installations vary very little from the initial designs
first submitted at the initial enquiry phase. They are able to
design systems to suit car parks of all sizes, whether they are to
form part of an existing building or a completely bespoke facility.

Gilberts specialise in, Grilles & Diffusers, Smoke, Fire and Volume
Control Dampers, VAV Terminals, External and Architectural Louvres,
Natural Ventilation Systems, Domestic Warm Air Grilles, Tooling &
Engineering. Natural ventilation, unlike mechanical fan forced
ventilation, simply uses the natural pressure differential force of
air movement, wind and buoyancy to deliver a steady supply of fresh
air for building ventilation & cooling.
