Daikin
heat recovery ventilation systems are designed to modulate the
temperature and humidity of incoming fresh air to match indoor
conditions. A balance is thus achieved between indoor and outdoor
ambients. The VAM HRV units provide for cost effective energy
efficient fresh air ventilation meeting legal and comfort
requirements for offices, public spaces and other commercial
applications. HRV units can be controlled individually or integral
with the air conditioning system (Daikin VRV or Sky Air series).
When used in conjunction with an air conditioning system the HRV
unit enables the cooling or heating load placed on the air
conditioning system to be reduced significantly while maintaining
the required fresh air ventilation rates. Essentially, the Daikin
VAM HRV system takes out dirty indoor air and pushes in fresh
outdoor air to the rooms of your building exchanging heat and
humidity between supply and exhaust air, which brings outdoor air
close to indoor conditions and thus recovers energy loss.

Space Air - VRV Heat Recovery (REYQ) - The VRV® system features a
highly intelligent inverter-driven compressor that allows for
individual control of up to 24 indoor fan coil units. Fully
optimized to operate with R-410A refrigerant, the system’s
technology enables the output of the outdoor unit to be modulated by
the cooling or heating demand of the zones it controls. The heat
recovery function is achieved by diverting exhaust heat from indoor
units in cooling mode to areas requiring heating. The VRV system
keeps running cost at an absolute minimum by controlling each zone
individually and shutting down completely in unoccupied areas if
required. More compact than conventional outdoor units, our heat
recovery units can be easily transported via elevator. In the
unlikely event of a compressor malfunction, the backup function
takes over to deliver 50-percent capacity during emergency
operation, eliminating the need for expensive standby equipment.
Features include: Heat recovery technology enables either cooling or
heating from one system Up to 24 indoor fan coil units connected to
an outdoor unit, Cooling capacity of 6 / 8 / 12 / 14 / 16 Tons
available,Up to 1,024 indoor units can be operated on a single
wiring system, Continuous operation 0°Fdb (-5Fwb) -64°Fdb (60Fwb) in
heating mode and 23°Fdb - 110°Fdb in cooling mode Flexible piping
lengths of up to 492 ft. for a total combined length of 1,000 ft.
Anticorrosion treatment, Branch selector boxes are necessary to
switch a specific unit or a group of indoor units from cooling to
heating mode.
