The Rhoss TurboPower chiller, available exclusively through Coolmation, is manufactured around the revolutionary Turbocor oil free centrifugal compressor. This chiller range offers unprecedented levels of energy efficiency when compared with conventional screw, scroll or reciprocating compressors. They are available in capacities from 150kW to 2100kW.
TurboPower chillers are such an important step forward for energy efficiency, but it is though the seamless integration of the Turbocor compressor with Rhoss’s new heat exchange and control technology, which is providing outstandingly reliable operating efficiencies. An EER in excess of 8 can be achieved at part load conditions and up to 4 at full load, representing an efficiency increase of more than 100% and up to 10% respectively on conventional chillers.

Uniflair have developed the BCWC (Big Centrifugal Water-Cooler Chiller). This system utilises oil free technology, internal impellers of the compressor operated via a magnetic toroidal field thus avoiding mechanical friction. This oil free systems is ideal for optimum efficiency, irrelevant of the load condition, while generating maximum reliability with minimal maintenance, as well as reducing the size and weights of the equipment. The use of magnetic force to operate the impellers quarter output results in a near silent operation. Oil free operation allows the use of flooded evaporator technology without limitations, generating an increased energy efficiency. Oil free systems remove superheating and decreased pressure drops resulting in a higher exchange with reduced energy losses and precise water temperature control. Operating systems and control software developed by Uniflair has enabled the oil free BCWC unit to run at the highest efficiency, while optimising operation for any load condition.
